Front view of the place...

(There's even a hammock to chillax on if you feel like it...)

Thanks for checking this out:)

The extra room is available for rent in my lovely home again, situated in one of the most sought after locations in Kuala Lumpur:- Bangsar. Suitable for long term stay or short term stay between 3-6 months, which is ideal for International interns because of the timeline and location.

There is a cute little garden outside with 2 mini BBQ pits and bamboo mats by the door if alfresco dining is your thing. There are also 2 bicycles parked up front, including a foldable one for the LRT/Monorail/train services if you're an eco champion. The place is within walking distance to the LRT station, the Bangsar Baru shop lots, Bangsar Village and other amenities. Car owners and pets are welcome too.

Air-conditioning and fan available throughout the house. We can work something out if you need space to work or study. There's an extra room you can use/share as a makeshift office for your late night work shenanigans.

You will be sharing with either myself (Karen: 26 yrs old, studying+working professional, into art/culture/travel/volunteering etc.) or another tenant.

I am looking for interesting, sociable, considerate (not always bringing gangs of friends home and playing loud music all the time) clean, responsible, respectful young adults who pay their bills on time and clean up after themselves as soon as they're done with their meals :)

It would be amazing if you shared the same passion for the environment, people, travel and music.....with an extremely flexible/adaptable personality in general. There's also a decent book collection if you're into reading, a guitar if you're into music, and if you're lucky, a projector every now and then to watch movies in the garden or in the livingroom when you feel like it. You can lie on a futon in the 6-man tent if it rains too. No worries...

The most important thing, of course, is to be able to work well together to keep the balance and harmony of the lovely home we live in:-) Guys and gals are welcome to have a wee look.

Transportation links:

The bangsar LRT station (sky train) is a 7min walk away from home. The train goes directly to KL Sentral (1 stop)/Chinatown (2 stops)/KLCC Twin Towers (6 stops) and so on...

http://www.malaxi.com/rapidkl/kelana_jaya_line.html

*KL Sentral is the transportation hub of Kuala Lumpur with easy and accessible links to both KLIA (Express Train:35 mins) and the LCCT Airports (Bus:1hr), the Monorail line(Bukit Bintang and city centre) and the local-regional train, KTM.

The Extras:

We've got a proper hot power shower and for all you little Gordon Ramseys' out there:- the kitchen is equipped with utensils, microwave oven and stove.

A washing machine is available for home use, but if you still fancy pressed trousers and having your shirts properly ironed and crisp, there are a couple of launderettes to choose from within rolling distance.

Our home is equipped with high-speed wireless broadband internet which is great for skype and if you're a freelancer. Basically everything and not a penny more so you wouldn't need to worry your pretty little head about it ;) It's at the best location possible...and getting a taxi from here is like catching midges with your bare hands in summer...

Rental:

1. Long term stay: RM1,200 per month (1 year and above)

2. Short term stay: RM1,400 per month (less than 1 year)

(Rental is 2.5 months deposit (refundable) + rent.)

Your room will be available on the 10th of September onwards...

P.s. We're not drama queens nor party freaks so we're really looking for someone super duper chilled out, relaxed with great, supa-dupa vibes :)

(6 Rollout futons to relax on...)

Dining in...

Dining in...

An open plan, dining area that leads to the kitchen. It used to be a yoga studio, hence all the mirrors in place. There's plenty of light during the day as well- thanks to the sun-roof that opens up to the midsection of the house.

If alfresco dining is your thing...

The garden

Plenty of space for a BBQ and capoeira...

...which extends to the roof if you're as agile as my avatar friend :)
